Graduation is coming soon and most aren't really sure what to do next. Going through an internship for five months allowed me to meet the adults who were worn out by society and work. In school, everyone's divided into two groups - Those trying to achieve at least a GPA of 3 for their final semester and the others still taking things as it is.I entered a vocational institute thinking that it's better to learn with people who share the same passion, but instead, it was disastrous. Majority of them ended up here because there isn't any where else that accepted them. When asked about my grades, the reactions were always, "Why aren't you in business or finance". After 3 years of education, I start to ask myself similar questions - Why did I not study Biomedical when I had the chance to? Or heck, enter a Junior College? After all, my results had better standings and shouldn't be wasted in an unmotivated environment.
Talking to my high school friends is refreshing. They're funny and still pretty much the same people I knew back then. They always deliver serious insights to the table with humour. The lack of pessimism also makes me enjoy being around them. Maybe that's why we are friends.
Let's see what life dishes out in a few months time...
